After Thanksgiving and before Christmas I was invited into a beautiful home in Danville, CA with a water damaged kitchen. The flooring and lower cabinets had to be removed due to a plumbing failure prior to my arrival.
Most contractors approaching this project would have opted for cabinet replacement. However, I was able to come up with a better option for this client that fit within their budget without any sacrifice to the overall quality of the kitchen. Instead of replacing the cabinets, I re-built the cabinet lowers onsite and installed the original face frames after only minor repairs to them.
I then installed a new porcelain tile floor to match the existing backsplash. The customers were very happy to have their kitchen back before Christmas, as promised.
